The beneficiaries of this aid may be any of the persons listed below who are resident for tax purposes in Spain: Natural or legal persons of a private nature who are owners of existing buildings intended for tourist accommodation located in the Principality of Asturias. Operators, lessees or concessionaires of buildings used for tourist accommodation located in the Principality of Asturias, who can prove their status by means of a valid contract granting them express authority to carry out the renovation work covered by this agreement. If both categories of recipients apply for funding for the same project, the respective applications will indicate the percentage that each of the applications assumes of the total project, without the sum of both percentages exceeding 100 % of the project. All applicants must meet the following requirements: Be up to date in the fulfilment of their tax and Social Security obligations and not be in debt to the Principality of Asturias for overdue, liquid and enforceable debts. Not be subject to any of the prohibitions set out in sections 2 and 3 of Article 13 of the LGS. When the beneficiaries are natural persons, they must be Spanish nationals or nationals of one of the Member States of the European Union or of the European Economic Area or Switzerland. In the case of non-EU foreigners, they must have their tax domicile and permanent operational centre in Spain and maintain them, at least, for the period during which the subsidised activities are carried out. When the beneficiaries are legal entities, they must accredit that they are legally constituted in accordance with the applicable regulations. Establishments used for tourist accommodation located in the building where the energy efficiency and circular economy project is to be carried out must be registered in the Register of Tourism Businesses and Activities of the Principality of Asturias prior to the publication of this call for proposals.
