Workshop in Gijón on offshore wind energy

The past 7 OctoberIn the Poniente beach of Gijón, together with the Colegio de Ingenieros Navales y Oceánicos, and with the sponsorship of Buerau Veritas, we carried out the first Offshore Wind Energy workshop which was attended by more than thirty participants between 8 and 12 years of age.

Two different sessions of the same workshop were held, with about 15 participants in each one, explaining how wind energy is harnessed at sea by assembling, manipulating and installing several small-scale models of wind turbines on the beach.
