Siero and FAEN move together towards the European energy transition

Siero becomes the only Spanish council to participate in the European consortium of the programme. Clean Energy TransitionThe project was launched in the framework of the European Year of the Environment, together with 15 other municipalities from countries such as Portugal, Italy and Greece.

With the FAEN technical supportenergy audits will be carried out in public buildings, and measures such as solar panels o biomass boilerswith the aim of reducing emissions, saving energy and modernising municipal facilities.

This project puts Siero ahead of European requirements in local energy planning.
