New publicity campaign of the DATA CELLAR project on the pilot cases

The project DATA CELLAR has started a new information and dissemination campaign on the project focusing on the pilot cases participating in the project as "Pilot Cases".Validation cases". The first one on which they focus is the one from Spain, in which the Fundación Asturiana de la Energía, participates through the contribution of the energy community in the locality of Fontoria (Bimenes). 

This group of 7 neighbours have started to produce energy for self-consumption with their photovoltaic plant in the summer of 2023 and will be one of the 9 pilot cases that will test and evaluate the services that will be developed under this project for the best optimisation and management of the energy data involved in this type of energy communities.

This system is promoted by the European Union as a tool for citizens' participation and democratisation and thus to obtain economic, environmental and social benefits for society in general.
