The DATA CELLAR Project drives development of local energy communities

The project "Data Hub for the Creation of Energy communities at the Local Level and to Advance Research on them" (DATA CELLAR), funded by the Horizon Europe programme, has as its main objective the creation of a public energy data space to support the formation, development and management of Local Energy Communities (LECs) in the European Union.

DATA CELLAR seeks to advance the research and practical application of these communities, promoting energy efficiency and sustainability at the local level. With the financial support of Horizon Europe, this project is positioned as a key pillar to promote the transition towards a more sustainable and community-based energy model in the European Union.
