Once again this year, the Energy Agencies recognise the best energy transition initiatives at national level.
The Association of Spanish Energy Management Agencies (EnerAgen) has announced the opening of the call for proposals for the XVI edition of the EnerAgen Awards 2025. These awards, sponsored by Red Eléctrica de EspañaThe aim is to recognise the efforts and innovation of SMEs, public administrations and energy communities in their commitment to the energy transition.
The Fundación Asturiana de la Energía,as a member agency of EnerAgenThe European Commission's programme for the promotion and selection of applications in the field of the Principality of AsturiasThe project is a contribution to highlighting exemplary initiatives that promote a more sustainable and efficient energy model.
Award categories
- Best Private Initiative for Energy Transition: Aimed at SMEs that stand out for their commitment to energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies and innovation in sustainability.
- Best Public Initiative for Energy Transition: Aimed at administrations and public bodies implementing exemplary and inspiring projects in the field of energy.
- Best Energy Transition Education, Awareness and Dissemination Initiative: It rewards educational programmes, awareness-raising campaigns or outreach projects that stand out for their creativity, scope and impact.
- Best Energy Communities Initiative: Recognition of citizen projects that promote the collective generation and management of energy in a sustainable manner.
Financial endowment and award ceremony
Each of the winning initiatives will receive a financial award of 1.500 €together with an accredited diploma.
The award ceremony will be held in Seville the next 11 June 2025at an event organised by the Andalusian Energy Agency.
