The Fundación Asturiana de la Energía has been recognized Community Transformation Office for the promotion and dynamisation of energy communitiescreated by IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of the Spanish Government) for the promotion, encouragement and support of energy communities, in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
FAEN offers a specific service aimed at supporting Energy Communities initiatives, not only from a technical and financial perspective (developing business plans, feasibility and financing), but also from a legal, regulatory and policy framework; accompanying the entire process from the preliminary study and linkage stage, legal-administrative constitutive steps, to the final implementation of an appropriate governance model and provision of legal advice.
The project will run until September 2025 and among its objectives is to establish collaborations with the different agents involved in the promotion and creation of Energy Communities that are of interest to facilitate the development of initiatives in Asturias.
