On 5 June, Carlos García, Director of the Asturian Energy Foundation (FAEN), will receive at FAEN's headquarters a Chilean delegation participating in the "Chile-Spain Collaboration on Socio-Ecological Just Transition" programme, organised by the Institute for Just Transition.
The visit is part of the process of elaboration of the National Strategy for a Just Socio-Ecological Transition (ENTSEJ) by the Ministry of Environment of Chile, whose draft was submitted to Public Consultation until 24 December 2024. In this context, the Chilean Delegation has established a bilateral collaboration channel with the ITJ to learn first-hand about the experiences, challenges and good practices applied by Spain in its own ecological transition process.
During the meeting, the work that FAEN is carrying out in Asturias in the field of Energy Transition will be presented, as well as the actions carried out by FAEN. Just Transition Observatory of Asturias (OTJA) in the region.
