Workshop Forestry Sector Resilience to Climate Change

The next 16 January the Workshop/Workshop on Resilience of the Forest Sector to Climate Change, organised through the Department of Ecological Transition, Industry and Economic Development of the Principality of Asturias (TEIDE) is organising together with the support of the Asturian Energy Foundation (FAEN) and the Forestry and Wood Technology Centre (CETEMAS)is developed under the project Pathways2Resilience.

The main objective of this workshop is to bring together different stakeholders to discuss the effects of climate change on forest ecosystems in the mountainous areas of central and south-western Asturias, and to explore actions that can reduce the vulnerability of forests to climate change. For closer collaboration to address the challenges of climate change, by creating a better understanding of the capacities of each stakeholder and exploring new ideas and opportunities for collaboration.
