Meeting of participation process for the creation of "PACES" Soto del Barco

On Wednesday, 4 September 2024, Luis Ángel García Gutiérrez, technician of the Fundación Asturiana de la Energía,will meet at the Soto del Barco Town Council with the Councillor for the Environment and Rural Affairs, Aroa Gutiérrez, to exchange views on the choice of the municipality as a pilot project for the development of a SECAP (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan) in the said council.

During the meeting it is planned to collect the necessary data for the elaboration of the document and it will be proposed to hold a workshop aimed at the citizens, associations and public and private entities of the council. The aim of this workshop will be to raise awareness of the project and to gather the perception of the different stakeholders on Climate Change in the municipality.

The elaboration of climate action plans in municipalities during 2024 has been subsidised by the Consejería de Transición ecológica, medio ambiente y cambio climático for an amount of 200.000€.
