Conference "Offshore wind energy, an opportunity for Asturias".

The Association of Naval and Ocean Engineers in Asturias has decided to dedicate its annual technical conference to Offshore Wind Energy, which will consist of 3 lectures, the first of which will be given by the Director of FAEN, Carlos García, on the Energy use of maritime space and environmental impact.

In addition, in collaboration with the Fundación Asturiana de la Energía, an educational workshop will be held on Saturday 7 October to explain how wind energy is harnessed at sea by assembling and installing several small-scale models of wind turbines on the beach for children aged between 8 and 12.
